At My Life As Robin’s Wife, Diane had a kitchen floor that was looking more than a little dated, thanks to some linoleum that had been there a little too long. She wanted to change up the look of the flooring, but didn’t want to spend a lot of money to do so. And that’s when she learned: you can paint linoleum.
Diane used Behr Premium Porch and Patio Paint and a good primer and 220 grade sand paper to prime and prep the kitchen floor. She picked out a pretty aqua color for the top coat. ”I am amazed at the difference after painting it!” says Diane.
“It is all refreshed and fits the style of the rest of our home much better. I even like the tile on the counters more after the paint job.” What a fun and inexpensive way to change up the look of a linoleum floor!
