Maria blogs at Five Simple Things. She and her husband recently celebrated an anniversary, so Maria wanted to give him something special and meaningful. Her gift started out with some used cherry cabinet doors.
One cabinet door became sentimental wall art, thanks to a reverse stenciling technique. Maria chose a line from a favorite song, and cut the letters out of vinyl on her Cricut craft cutting machine. After applying the vinyl to the wood, she sprayed the cabinet door with white spray paint. When the letters were removed, Maria had her gift ready!
