Spindle Leg Table Makeover

At The Junk Nest, Jessica has had this little table sitting in her bathroom for a while, now.  It was a thrift store find, but she hadn’t gotten around to refinishing it.  Recently, Jessica decided it was time to give it a new look.

First, she had to take all the rolls of toilet paper off the little table.  Then she used some black paint that she already had on hand to completely cover the old, worn out finish.  Jessica topped the new paint job with a coat of Annie Sloan clear wax, to give the table extra protection from the moisture of the bathroom.  “My favorite part about this little end table is the spindly legs,” Jessica confesses. “They are a pain to paint, but it is totally worth it.”  I agree!  I think this is an adorable piece of furniture that looks terrific wearing its new look.
