Over at The OhOh Blog, Ama’s been working on a project. She started out with an empty plastic container and some felt.
Ama figured out how to weave strips of felt into a basket. She used the plastic container to help give her basket shape and form. The felt basket will retain it’s shape even if the container is removed, or Ama demonstrated that it could be kept in place to create a sturdier basket. I love how Ama used contrasting thread to sew up the edge of the basket–it’s a sweet touch of color.
