The mother-daughter team at Namely Original is at it again! They turned this thrift store art into a fun chalkboard.
Emily’s mom saw this art at a a thrift store and thought the size and chunky frame had potential. The painting was so dark, that it made her think of a chalkboard. So, they sanded down the bumpy paint texture and covered it with chalkboard paint. The frame was given a coat of distressed white paint. Emily looked up chalkboard fonts online and used chalk markers to create the adorable cafe-style sign as a gift for her aunt. (Lucky!) I wish I could write on a chalkboard like that!
