At The Learner Observer, Thalita needed a little catchall bowl for her living room. She had tried without success to find something she like at the thrift store, when she came across a pretty little blue bowl at Ikea for just $3.
The bowl on it’s own was cute, but Thalita wanted to add a little pizzazz. She decided to try decorating the plain bowl with a gold Sharpie marker. Thalita chose to add cute polka dots just to the inside of the bowl. The effect is stunning: it looks like an expensive art piece! I love the combination of gold and turquoise together, and I’m amazed by how easy this was.
You can visit The Learner Observer to find out how Thalita was able to make such perfect polka dots.
Easy and beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

You are so welcome! This is a darling little project…you’ve got the wheels turning in my brain.
This is definitely one of those “why didn’t I think of that” projects! How clever and so cute.
