At The Weekend Country Girl, Karen says, “I found this beauty by the side of the road on the way home from work. It took some smooth talking to my Hubby to get him to take the truck and pick it up. I had to go back with him and we almost died getting it loaded. It is 6 1/2 feet long and weighs about the same amount as a baby elephant.”
Karen refinished this sturdy piece with a fresh coat of white paint on the body, and let the gorgeous, dark wood tones show through on the top of the credenza. The glazing and distressing that Karen did really helped the interesting bamboo details stand out. Great job, Karen!

I am so excited to see my credenza on your blog! Thank you for showing off our work!
You are so welcome!
That looks amazing. I’ve been on the hunt for something like that too, but they are so heavy, like you said, that I’d really need to have my husband on board. Which is sometimes the toughest part of a project!
Hah! It can be, can’t it?
