Coffee Table to Train Play Table

Over at Mellywood’s Mansion, Mel was getting a bit tired of finding her children’s Thomas the Train tracks in a disorganized jumble all…the…time.  If you are a mom, I’m sure you can relate.  So, when she spotted an old coffee table on the side of the road, Mel knew just what to do with it.

After she brought the coffee table home, Mel painted it a bright shade of green and proceeded to glue the train tracks to the top of it.  She added lots of fun landscaping details and animals.  Now, the children have a delightful spot to play with their trains, and clean up is a cinch!  And project that makes life better for moms and their kids is a winner, don’t you think?

As always, I love the super creative rescues you find Becky! Just thought you’d like to know that the ad at the top (a toys-r-us ad for me) covers half of the first paragraph of text you wrote! And I use Google Chrome browser if that helps
