This dresser makeover comes to us from Ahna of Easier Than I Thought. Ahna happened to hear her neighbor chatting about calling a charity to come pick up an unwanted dresser. Ahna quickly volunteered her house as a charitable cause, and took the dresser home.
The dresser was sturdy, but not quite as feminine as it needed to be to fit in it’s intended destination: Ahna’s daughter’s bedroom. Ahna spent a lot of time prepping this piece before she painted it: sanding it carefully, filling in as many small dings and holes as she possibly could. The preparation was well worth the time it took, since the end results of that effort produced a brand-new piece of furniture with a silky, smooth , white finish.
