When Kelli of The Turquoise Piano married her husband, she just assumed that the old dresser he had was something special to him. Three years later, she asked about it and learned that it had belonged to his ex-girlfriend’s sister, and he couldn’t remember how it ended up at his house! Can you say makeover time?
Kelli started the makeover by sanding the whole thing, especially the top. She drew a floral design on top and used ebony stain to get an intricate two-tone effect with her design. She finished the body of the dresser with gray stripes of varying sizes. It’s a completely new look for this old dresser, and looks fantastic in Kelli’s entryway.
