Melissa of Honeybee Vintage has a sweet little daughter who loves hearts. So when Melissa got the idea to make some “heart art” using supplies from around her home, she knew it would be perfect for her little girl’s bedroom.
Melissa used wood she had leftover for making slats for her own bedframe, and cut out paper hearts to hang from the wood. She softened the rough wood by covering it with lace she already had, too. The colorful hearts make a delightful art display that’s reminiscent of a crib mobile–but they definitely have a big-girl vibe!
