Terri, who blogs at Fresh Cut Flours, found this antique headboard at an estate sale and snatched it up for just $10. As she considered what to do with it, Terri remembered that her daughter’s family didn’t have a fireplace to hang their stockings.
With a fresh coat of cherry red paint and the addition of some pretty hooks, Terri created a cheerful place for her grandchildren to hang their stockings this Christmas! Isn’t it darling?

This is such a great idea! I love seeing repurposed headboards and footboards.
