Chippy Veneer Dresser

Tammy from One More Time received this solid wood empire dresser from a friend. It was in pretty rough shape with water damage and peeling veneer. Tammy’s husband, Mr. OMT, took the castoff under his wing, and fully embraced its unique look.

Instead of starting to chip away at the remaining veneer, Mr. OMT sanded the dresser down until it was silky smooth and then sealed it with poly. Like Tammy says, it really has a lot of character. I like the rugged, natural vibe it has going on.

Woah! I’m really loving the template/theme of
this website. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of
times it’s very hard to get that “perfect balance” between user friendliness and visual appeal.
I must ssay you have done a amazing job with this.
