A friend gave Natalie at NorthShore Days these two dental assistant stools from the 50’s that had been sitting on her deck in the elements for years. They were destined for the skip when they were passed on to Natalie to “do something amazing with.”
Natalie actually painted them three times before she found a turquoise green color that made her happy. Here’s what Natalie has to say: “A shell stencil and wood stain transformed these stools from awful to awesome. A real labour of love and they are a perfect addition to our home.”
Go to NorthShore Days to see the complete transformation.
That is one awesome rescue! Natalie is very talented and I love her stuff!
Not only do Natalie’s stools look fab, but they have a cool history behind them! I look forward to seeing more of Natalie’s work for sure.
Natalie really did a beautiful job on these stools…makes me look at the stools sitting at my peninsula and go “hmmmmm”. Her blog NorthShore Days is full of amazing jewelry tutorials as well. Well worth a visit! Thanks Beckie!
Thanks for the word about the jewelry tutorials. I will have to check those out!
Best of luck with those stools!
Love those stools!!!
Glad you like them, Julie! Thanks for reading.
