When it comes to refabbing, even trash cans deserve a little love, right? Follow the lead of Melisa from Toad in a Boat and don’t settle for a boring old plastic trash can when it can be so much more.
Melisa outfitted her wastebasket with strips of paper from a novel and then added some thrift store Scrabble tiles for a special finishing touch. I love the idea of using the game pieces to create a label. Pieces from games like Scrabble, Boggle, or Rummikub would also be great for labeling and numbering storage bins, baskets, and drawers.
