Amy from The Idea Room had an old wood swing that had belonged to her home’s previous owners and then sat under her porch for ages. It was actually in the trash can for pick up when her husband valiantly rescued it from its sad fate.
Amy removed some of the boards and attached them to a piece of scrap wood to make a photography prop. The weathered wood and chipped paint create a beautiful background for her photos (which are simply stunning!). Old wood such as Amy’s would also make for gorgeous wall art or a rustic tabletop. The possibilities are pretty much endless!
