This antique dresser was on its way to the thrift store when Jessica from Running with Scissors snagged it from her brother-in-law. She had been on the lookout for a dresser to provide extra storage in her kids’ closet. This freebie was perfect for the job – warped drawers, water-stained top, and all!
Jessica painted the bottom, sanded and stained the top, and restored the original glass hardware. She now loves it so much that this once “piece of junk” actually ended up replacing the dresser that was in the room! No reason to hide beauty in the closet!
