Drum Coffee Table

Tim from Kara Paslay Designs shares how to repurpose an old drum into a unique coffee table that gives off a soft glow. Tim started with an old, inexpensive drum. While I don’t know too much about musical instruments, it’s a pretty safe bet that you could score an old drum from a garage sale or thrift store.

Tim removed the black laminate from the drum’s exterior and refinished the underlying wood with a rich stain. He then used a string of Christmas lights to create the glowing interior and finished it off with the glass tabletop from an old patio set. Isn’t this the coolest table for a music lover?
