With all the new crib safety regulations that have been put in place, it’s not too difficult nowadays to find old cribs sitting curbside. This makes me pretty happy since crib repurpose projects happen to be some of my faves. Candy from Junk Sophisticate shares on Junk Market Style how she turned a castoff crib spring into wall décor for her dining room.
Candy created her artwork by weaving strips of burlap through the crib springs. While Candy was going for a neutral palette, it might also be fun to hit up the crib spring with some spray paint and choose some colorfully patterned fabrics for your strips. The woven design can stand alone or provide a backdrop for drawings, photographs, or even postcards.
