Crib Art Station

Karen from Redoux got some crib pieces for a few dollars from a man who had been collecting junk for ages and had accumulated quite the stash of treasures. The crib pieces sat in Karen’s garage until she was inspired by a fellow blogger and treasure seeker to create a child’s art station.

After cleaning, priming, and painting one of the crib rails, Karen added a DIY chalkboard and drawer organizer for holding supplies. Of course, old cribs are easy to find curbside or at thrift stores, but I think this would also be a cute way to extend the life of your child’s crib into the preschool and elementary years.
