Rasha from My Champagne Taste loves silver leaf furniture. This old ivory and gold French provincial dresser was her guinea pig for creating her first piece of fabulously shiny and rich-looking furniture.
I am really blown away by how beautifully the dresser came out! Rasha says it took three tries to get the silver leaf just right, but her perseverance most definitely paid off. I love the stenciled detail Rasha added to the sides and how beautiful the silver looks with the bright pops of color in the space.

Thanks for the inspiration. I found a similar dresser on Craigslist and silver leafed it. It looks amazing and it was so much fun. I told the kids that I was going to silver leaf everything, including the minivan.
Hilarious! It’s so fun to find a favorite finish, right?
