I so love simple projects that yield fantastic results! This wine crate upcycle from Brittany at Pretty Handy Girl is one such project. Brittany received a wooden wine crate from a friend with a stash of magazines. You know she was probably more excited about the crate than what it held!
With just some stain and rope, Brittany created a rustic box for displaying magazines and other decorative trinkets. Using a wine crate is such a genius idea. Not only are they free (if you can get the hookup from your local wine shop) and sturdy, but the vintage images and text are already included. No need for stenciling or transferring!
