After seeing a rustic, wood-framed headboard on Pinterest, Kim from Too Much Time became devoted to the task of creating her own. The perfect opportunity arrived when Kim found some old fence posts in a garbage pile. Kim wasn’t deterred in the least by the owner’s disbelief that she would want to turn the splintering and nail-ridden boards into a headboard.
Actually, his doubt just motivated her more to prove him wrong. Kim cut the boards to fit around her upholstered headboard and even added a ledge to the top. The project only took a couple of hours and Kim is thrilled with her new headboard. Now she just needs to take some photos on over to the fence’s original owner and gloat share her success!
