Vintage Radio Bar

This 1930’s Radio Cabinet was about to become homeless when Sherry from Pondered Primed Perfected and her husband Scott found it. Unfortunately, the radio components were unsalvageable but they were able to upcycle the vintage radio into something fun and useful instead.

Scott took this project on himself, working hard to refinish the exterior and then retro-fit shelving and racks on the inside to create a mini bar. It was well worth all of
the hard work though. The piece has such a cool presence and will certainly be enjoyed at countless get-togethers over the years.

Oh, that’s great! I see these all the time on Craigslist, often for under $30-40 when the radio/turntable components aren’t fixable. Now I’m inspired!

  2. Beckie,

What a wonderful Christmas gift to have Scott’s radio cabinet featured! Thanks! I have already announced it on my blog and facebook, I was so excited!
It means so much that this project is being noticed and Scott’s hard work is being appreciated. Hearing that we inspire others is a dream come true. :)

    Have a very Merry Christmas.
    Sherry
