Katie from Creatively Living Outside the Box had stored away this strange room divider piece when she first moved into her home that was built in 1948. It originally had a gathered navy fabric in the open frame on top. The piece was so big and interesting though that Katie knew it could one day become something fun!
The divider definitely came through when Katie was in need of a jewelry organizer in her new home. She primed and painted the wood and then backed the open frame with fabric and chicken wire. It’s decorative and provides plenty of storage space for Katie’s jewelry. What an awesome idea to use chicken wire for easy hanging!
