Okay, so who’s still dying to see what else Susan from Homeroad made from the big ol’ lamp she got curbside? I know that I am loving Susan’s creative repurposes! Here’s a reminder of some of the lamp pieces Susan had after dissecting her specimen.
Susan again combined several of the pieces with a rod in the middle to create a brand new decorative piece – a pedestal bowl! With a coat of oil rubbed bronze, this piece is chock full of decorating potential. What do you think? Way better than a monster sized lamp with with ornate fish and horses?
Check it out at Homeroad.
Very cool! I have old lamp parts I’ve painted, just don’t have them assembled yet! hahaha

I love this. I never thought of using a lamp like that. I did get an old chandelier and intend to make a cake stand for my daughter who is a blogger as well. Thanks for all your inspiration.
