Hockey Bag Pillow

I am a big fan of meaningful gifts, especially for parents and grandparents who seem to have everything they need or could even want. Karah from The Space Between made her dad a special gift for his 65th birthday this past November. It all started with an old hockey bag that belonged to Karah’s dad, an avid hockey player all his life.

Karah took the old, unused bag and turned it into a new, sentimental pillow that her father would, of course, love. Like Karah, I love the fact that it’s weathered and authentically vintage. As an added bonus, the pillow cost Karah nothing to make since she used stuffing from a pillow she already had.

I have to ask how you got the hockey funk out. My brother plays hockey and all his stuff smells to high heaven, I could never do somethng like this lest his entire room smell like hockey funk!
