Checkerboard Gaming Table

Mary from The Decorative Paintbrush found this end table for $3 on a thrift store run. Talk about a steal! The table wasn’t even in bad shape, just in need of a little cleaning and elbow grease to remove the newspaper that was fused to places on the top.

After sanding and priming, Mary tackled the table with her magical paintbrush. Seriously, this girl is good! Since the table was to be a checkerboard table, Mary opted for more muted tones than usual. However, the table is still full of pizzazz with lots of swirls, flowers, and polka dots.
