Armelle from La Vie Vintage Bleu finally got the new armoire she’d been hoping for when her hubby found a castoff sitting on the neighbor’s curb. The biggest battle was eliminating an old wood smell that just wouldn’t go away. Luckily, Armelle finally won with some odor-sealing shellac and plenty of airing out time.
It took decorative appliques, bead board, primer, glaze, and a whole lotta distressing for Armelle to turn the curbside piece into the armoire of her shabby chic dreams. Armelle loves the result and now has the perfect place to keep all her accessories!
