Mudroom Basket Storage Dresser

Diane at In My Own Style finds no shame in pulling over to rescue a castoff from a curb… or in this case a field. Diane found this old dresser form with missing drawers just chilling in a field with no one to love it. Diane saw its potential to become a functional piece of furniture.

Organizer-Shelf-Before

Diane added plywood to create shelves where the drawers used to be. She sanded and sanded, but the edges still had a raw wood look, so Diane had the genius idea to add ribbon and thumbtacks to cover it up. Then Diane slid in her new dollar store baskets with the cute little labels she added, and this baby was ready to become her mudroom’s organization station.
