Ellen from Shimmer & Tulle is in the process of transforming her family room into a playroom/classroom for homeschooling her son. The next item on the docket was an essential for any classroom – a chalkboard, of course! After several futile attempts at purchasing a cheap chalkboard that actually worked, Ellen’s husband came home with the bottom of an old crib he had found curbside to save the day.
After the piece was cleaned, sanded, and primed, it received two coats of beloved chalkboard paint. Ahhh, finally a chalkboard that works!
